I grew up in Potomac, MD - close enough to get a taste of Southern hospitality and foster a love for all things monogrammed. I carried that love to Boston College, where my roommates and I would take weekly trips to the paper store and make our own stationery - custom envelope liners and all! I went on to earn a law degree from the University of Virginia and moved to New York City to practice corporate law. While living on Irving Place (my inspiration for this brand, of course), I designed a capsule letterpress stationery collection that I sold at a boutique paper store in New Jersey and I wanted desperately to do more of that!

I started Irving Place in 2023 as a creative outlet, still working full-time in compliance. I absolutely loved every minute I got to spend designing monograms, printing stationery and helping customers with color choices. Fast forward two years and I could not be happier to be working full time in this creative world!

My favorite part of this business? Getting to know couples and families, and celebrating every milestone with them—graduations, weddings, new babies, and all the meaningful moments in between.
